KIND WORDS & LOVE STORIES
Hearing how a couple has felt about their wedding floral creation is what inspires and encourages me as an individual. I am truly humbled by the kind words I have received for my floral designs, here are a few that I handpicked…
Meet the newlyweds I’ve had the privilege of working with, from Jo and Tim, the high school sweethearts who got married in the village they grew up in, to Olivia and Ed, the forever friends turned soul mates!
Janie & Darren
Venue: The Bridge, Wetherby
Brief: Janie wanted to create a design that was soft, natural and very much inspired by the garden, which is her Mum’s love. It was important to Janie to incorporate her Mum’s flower, Lilac Freesia to the bouquet,, whilst using a mix of creams and purples. It was special to add a dedicated charm to the bouquet, in memory of her Dad. Beautiful lady and couple, and a special wedding for Victoria Ivy, as this was the first, with such a beautiful, special story.
“The process of dealing with Victoria was like dealing with with a friend. Her warm and welcoming personality, along with her love of flowers and knowledge, blew us away.
The detail in which Victoria into through the initial consultation and our written proposal blew us away. The actual day, was more than we hoped or could of imagined. Victoria was a pleasure to work and we can’t thank her enough. x”
Elizabeth & Manassah
Venue: At home, Near Crayke, North Yorkshire.
Brief: Elizabeth wanted to create flowers that were natural, soft in colour and represented Spring, whilst oozing the personality of this fun, vibrant couple. Using garden inspired florals, from anemones, to beautiful peonies, the flowers were gathered and designed with a natural feel. Using soft tones of peaches, and pinks, whilst incorporating different textures – a beautiful design, fitting perfectly with a North Yorkshire wedding.
“Victoria was amazing, and really took the time to get to know us and what we wanted.
Victoria helped guide us, by telling and showing us what would be in season for our May wedding and options on design.
Throughout our wedding Victoria worked us and on the day delivered stunning flowers.”
Kayleigh & James
Venue: Black Horse Inn, Clifton.
Brief: Kayleigh and James wanted to create a very intimate design, which reflected them and their love for their families and friends. The flowers were kept simple, with soft tones of creams and pinks, as when your bride looks like this, the flowers were there to add the final detail. Gorgeous couple.
